Felicia answered a call for my tire to be changed. I was on I93S and she arrived in no time which is not typical for this type of assistance. She immediately recognized that the lug nuts were too rusted and stripped for removal. Rather than add more damage to the vehicle, she towed it to the nearest automotive garage. She stayed with me to make sure they could help me and explained to the delemma to the mechanic. What a thoughtful, experienced mechanic she is!!! I asked for her card as I will directly contact her should something arise in the future.

I went early because I had been trying to get my air conditioner working but felt I needed to get a professional look at it. The tech treated me with honesty and respect, didn't push any services and was up front with the costs. He even offered to let me fix it myself and tell me how much the parts would cost online. With this level of honesty, I trusted them and just had them perform the work. I was in and out incredibly fast and everyone that works there was so friendly. I will be recommending this place to my friends, family, and employees. Support local businesses and appreciate when you find someone that is willing to do right by you.

Mario is awesome! One of the only mechanics to answer on a Saturday afternoon. I had troubles finding a part in a timely manner and but he was able to repair my vehicle. Awesome shop and affordable prices, honest work too! Thanks Mario

This business was amazing! Mario & his wife took care of my daughter that was stranded in Corpus Christi. He worked non-stop to replace the motor so that she could get home. I greatly appreciate that he didn’t over charge her & she had less to stress about being so far from home.

Utmost respect for these folks. Motor in our Kia dropped a cylinder, they helped my wife by taking the burden off her hands of finding a motor and having it put in within days. They were so considerate and helpful every step of the way, they made sure my wife was informed and even provided emotional support. These folks care about us and our vehicle, not to mention the price of parts and labor was great. They did not try once to take advantage of my wife, 5 stars is not enough. Thank you!

Wow, just wow! Mario was knowledgable and professional and AFFORDABLE! He not only fixed my machine quickly (next day service) but also brought the vehicle back to my home. Found my go to guy in town for all my automotive crisises! Update: Mario and co came through again and solved a particularly nasty habit my Wife's car was having. Got that ac up and running and just in time for the dog days if summer!

Mario is a very honest and incredible mechanic. He was very knowledgeable about the issues with my vehicle. He repaired my vehicle on the same day within less than an hour. His services are very affordable. He saved me a lot of money and time. I highly recommend his business.

Mario is an amazing mechanic kept it all within my budget while keeping my car safe. He doesn’t short come you and gets things done in a timely manner. They are an amazing company to work with!!

Here is my most recent review, since I can’t add another review I am revising this previous one I had posted. Where to even begin, Mario has been nothing but truly professional along side with his wife and son. I have a 2019 Landrover discovery sport 2.0L that needed an alternator replaced I had all the parts already, I called another mechanic that was cool but. Could not do the work because of how intense it would be complicated in other words. I called another shop that was referred to me only to never get a call back, called another shop that wanted way way more than I could afford. I was giving up hope and as I’m looking to see who eles I can reach out to, I see this company and I gave Mario a late night text due to me working and right away he replied back and as busy as he was he still found time for me to come in. I ended up coming Monday (5/5/25) a day early to drop off car since I knew it wouldn’t be worked on until Tuesday as we agreed and I had to work today Tuesday not expecting to pick it up until Wednesday or at the end of the week. Well as soon as I arrived Mario introduced himself, actually took the time to sit with me and explain the logistics on how they work and how his view on cars in general are viewed as one not as the type of car it is!! Not only did Mario explain to me what the process would be but what to potentially expect on a worse case scenario as well, he was upfront with everything, labor, cost, difficulty level ect.. He even took the time yesterday (Monday)same day I was just dropping off the car so he could get started on it Tuesday but instead he began on it that same day which blew me away, I was pretty excited about this but nervous at the same time because the type of car it is, very needy. Anyways he even went out of his way to text me later that day to confirm with me like we spoke about in person that it will be a little more due to the complications of the vehicle itself in which I was very understanding. I was completely understanding of it and especially after they tried everything they could before having to resort to this. I know he’s being honest because I myself couldn’t even do the work and hearing it from a handful of mechanics that wouldn’t touch it or where going to charge way to much!! Mario had my car ready early this morning (05/06/25) to my surprise and everything working brand new again, his wife was just as awesome, sweet, and friendly when paying got the services she was just as informative as Mario! **** I CAN HONESTLY SAY I FOUND MY TRUSTWORTHY MECHANIC!! *** ***Just to be straightforward I have no connections to Mario or his family, this was my first time doing Buisness with him, and I am extremely satisfied with the work they did ! I will definitely be a repeat customer if anything comes up or if anyone is looking for someone they can trust !! *** ***So I don’t understand all the negative comments he has received previously because I had a whole different experience and I wouldn’t be wasting my time writing this review or my reputation or more importantly Mario’s reputation and his family!! I have used alternative automotive on several occassions,,,,on one occassion he diagnosed and fixed my vehicle in 20 min,,,,i highly recomemd ALTERNATIVE AUTOMOTIVE ,TO EVERYONE,,and the fact that they are mobile and go to u Is a plus!

Great customer service. They explained that warranty work often doesn’t want to pay, but they discussed the vehicle symptoms and code with us and confirmed it was what we thought. Gave us some tips for the fix and a quote for the dealer. We ended up not using this mechanic for the service, because the car dealer weaseled out of paying out warranty.

Maria and Monica are absolutely amazing. They got my car running and gave me the best deal I think I could have got period. I came from Amarillo to drop off my family and my car was running horribly but Mario found out the source of my problems and fixed it with in a great time frame. Thank to people like this we can get the most out of our money and have an honest job done on our vehicle.
